As a church, we are partners in ministry with the Barkman family, our mission workers in the Philippines.

We are engaged in our community and world in many ways, and we invite you to join us:

Christian Education
Sunday School for all ages: Preschool, K-2, grades 3-5, grades 6-8; Youth (grades 9-12); Cross-Cultural Community/ESL, Sermon Discussion, and other adult electives (including this year: Faith, Dying, and the Law; What Every Family Should Talk About Smart Phones). Community Service
Providing once-a-week breakfast at our local middle school in partnership with Youth Unlimited; leading worship periodically at Menno Home/Hospital; monthly Chai & Chat with Abbotsford Community Services; participating in various local and short-term service opportunities like the Gleaners, Mennonite Central Committee Thrift Store, Mennonite Disaster Service.

Connection Groups
Bible studies, book studies, Christianity and the Arts group, Family Fellowship, Emmanuel Seniors Fellowship, Volleyball, Blanket Making and other group options.

Green Team
The Green Team encourages the church in creation care by inviting guest speakers; promoting composting and recycling, including an annual E-waste Recycling Sunday; and initiating our involvement in community gardening.

Wider Church and World Involvements
Refugee sponsorship, Mennonite Church British Columbia, Mennonite Church Canada, Mennonite World Conference, camp ministry, schools, relief and mission efforts around the world.

Vietnamese Christian Church
Thursday 7:00pm – Small Group & Prayer; Sport Night
Sunday 12:15pm – Noon Meal; 1:00pm – Worship & Inspiration
Programs offered: ESL, Vietnamese language class and more.

Youth Ministry
Grades 9 – 12: Worship, Service, Faith-talks, Fellowship, and Fun, Wednesday evenings and special weekend events.
Grades 6 – 8: Mini-Disciples, alternate Tuesday evenings
